Call from Camp!!!
I received a call from my son from camp!!! It made me sooo happy. He is having a great time, working on 2 merit badges. I was just thinking about him. Im so glad he called. I was actually just gathering a few more items for his canoe trip to Canada. He leaves a week after he returns from camp. So he will be gone most of July. :( Im sad that he is away but happy that he is able to go on such great adventures. At 12 years old I would have never been able to travel as he does. Boy Scouts is a great program for boys. I highly recommend it!! To know he is happy makes me happy. I suppose some will say I have spoiled my children, but I don't think I have. I have tried to provide them with all the love and care they need. I can not imagine my life with out my kids. They sometimes make me want pull my hair out, but I would not trade them for anything in this world!!!!

stop it jill. you can never spoil the ones you love. And the boy scouts IS a great orginization. i was in it for 3 years myself. traveled all over the place. had a great time. Just as long as he knows that its your love for him that gives him these freedoms.
u r such a great mom i never got to go to camp and thats great u can let them go for a short time so they can have there fun. :)
