Crap Crap Crap

I have not posted for awhile, been too busy and my son had the flu and was so nice that he gave it to me. I'm still not feeling too well so I cancelled my trip with my son this weekend, but he will have fun. So I will stay home and attend a funeral with my mother for a close family friend who passed away on Monday. Trust me I'd rather be with my son exploring the USS Hornet than at a funeral but I feel like I have to go. I suppose its a good thing I can finally get the room finished upstairs and complete my sons move up there with out him in the way.

Have a super day !!!!

Woo Hoo!!!

I just got this email message from a friend I work with:

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well perserved body, but rather to skid in sideway, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up,totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO WHAT A RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!"

I love it!!!!

Email hell !!!!!!!!!!!

Email is a great tool.....Unless you have just broken up with your boyfriend.........I know it hurts to be dumped....But we are adults, we need to act like adults. I have had realtionships that have not worked out and we have managed to remain friends or atleast part on good terms. I suppose it can't always be that way. Just give me a break I feel guilty enough.

My Interview with Jon

The Official rules of the Interview-Game
1. If you want to participate, leave a comment below saying "interview me."

2. I will respond by asking you five questions - each person's will be different.

3. You will update your journal/blog with the answers to the questions.

4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview others in the same post.

5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions

6. I will answer reasonable follow up questions if you leave a comment.

1. If California suddenly fell into the ocean, what other state would you like to live in?

I would have to say Arizona. I have really bad allergies and I hear that if you move there your allergies get better.

2. If we made your life into a TV Series, what would the show title be, and who would you cast in the major roles?

OMG....This could really happen!!!!!!!!!!! I would have to say Always the Bride, Never the Bridesmaid, I know its long but sooooo true. As for cast I think Nichols Cage as Husband #1, because #1 reminds me of him. Sean Connery as Husband #2 older and classy, Dwight Yukom as Hubby #3, because he can play a real bad ass character and looks great in tight jeans. As for casting me I would have to say ME!!!!!!!!!! Because then I'd get to kiss all the really great husbands I picked out!!!!!!!!!!

3. Provide there examlpes of why accountants are not boring.

I'm an accountant and I am anything but boring, and give great head!!!!. (This counts as 2 examples) ;)
Accountants authorize your paychecks. (that was a tough one Jon)

4.Give three names you absolutely would Never Ever have given to your son.

Richard (no one is ever going to call my son Dick)
Leroy.....too Okie sounding to me
William....Way to over over used in my family.

5. What was the first musical recording(45, LP, Cassette, 8-Track!) you have ever bought at a store, where is it now, and how do you feel about that music now?

Wow thats a step back in time for me....It was a 45, I don't remember what the record was, but I do remember the store. It was Carter's Music Store, downtown, I would ride my bike there all the time. They had a small booth with a sliding glass door and it had a record player in it. You had to ask Mr. or Mrs. Carter (they were scary old people) for the record you wanted to listen to, they would give it to you and then watch you like a hawk, as if you where going to steal it. I have now idea where my 45 collection is now, but I wish I did. I love all that old music I grew up on. It takes me back to a simple time.....no work..... no stress, just being a kid...........

Thanks Jon!!!!!! This was fun!!!!!
