I agree, anon. blurbs are usually silly, sometimes assinine and totally useless. Also, there is more product pushing going on in the comment section of a lot of blogs and that needs some ass-kicking time.

holy crap, this is weird, I'm not used to seeing morons pissing people off in Bloggers comments with their totally annoying advertising comments.
Why can't these asshats realize that all it does is make people ANGRY and that they would be less likely to patronize them. sheesh
I wonder why they are picking on you Jill? Any ideas?
If it keeps up you may want to switch to Haloscan commenting where you can at least ban them from ever commenting again.
Se7en: I have no clue. I think I'm not the only target, I have seen other bloggers complain also. Haloscan sounds like it might be the answer!!!

I've seen a few sites with this kind of spam. I don't think I've seen very much of it in haloscan though. You should put it in, it's very easy. You can remove the option to comment in blogger.
I hate to disallow anonymous comments, cause I have some non-blogger friends who read. I'm interested in that "Word verification" stuff that midwest hick and maine are using. But I'll have to email them to figure out how to do it...

i know what u mean i turn my off a while back because of the spammers and rude comments from anonymous. but little do they know i have their ip address and i blocked them as well.
dad gum spammers....i agree haloscan is the best. u can ban their ip and "ding" they are gone. try it. oh and by the way......GREAT TEMPLATE!!
I just had the same thing happen to me the other day. I felt all special till I realized there were 6 of the same comments with just different links.
