A new day!

Today is a new day, and I believe anything can happen. Over the weekend I was finally able to tell a certain person (#54 in my 101 list) how I felt and close that chapter in my life and today it feels like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders. He has moved on to a new relationship, I wish him the best and I hope he has a lifetime of happiness with her.

In other news.....The day has finally come!! They are starting my new roof today!! After much rain and many delays!! I am so excited! So here is a before picture. I will post updates as the week goes by!

Have a super Monday!!

Killer house girl!
The 10/12 pitch on that roof will make for some interesting views when they're reroofing it.

Your house is adorable! Hope the roofing goes faster than my new studio.

It’s great to see you so excited about something as seemingly mundane as a new roof. Some people might find it less than ordinary, but not me! I understand the importance of a good, strong, and sturdy roof. I hope the new roof was to your liking. How has it done against the bad weather we’ve had when it was put on?

I second Tisa’s sentiments! We had what we thought was a sturdy roof tear off in big pieces during a tornado a few years ago, so I, too, understand the importance of a good roof. Your black roof is so beautiful! It goes well with the color of your bricks.
